There aren’t many people in this world who can really push the boundaries on free speech, but blondesjon is one of them. He’s one of the most surprising individuals I’ve ever heard. His radio show is both hilarious and horrifying, and I can’t stop listening to it. He tells some of the best stories I’ve ever heard, and sometimes it’s hard not to balk at their content. Still, my favourite qualities in blondesjon are loyalty, dedication and an excellent taste in music.

Jeruba

Jeruba is a bit of a mysterious person, at least to me. Hiding behind an ever-smiling Cate Blanchett, Jeruba’s carries an unmistakable vibe of intelligence and sophistication. There’s a lot to admire in a person like this, but I especially appreciate the kindness and thoughtfulness that seems to be so rare on the internet.

My first thought about cak was “Who the hell is cak, and why is she so great, exactly?” The Fluther community has been increasingly restless for the past while, awaiting cak’s triumphant return. I couldn’t help but join in the hysteria, this “cak” person was clearly all kinds of awesome to have this many people so concerned about her well-being. It’s always kind of strange to feel genuine concern for a person you’ve never talked to…

EmpressPixie is one of the few Jellies that I first communicated with in chat, and felt that I liked her right away. An intellectual through and through (like many Jellies we all know and love) she has a great sense of humour to boot. A fantastic moderator (I think you’ll find it hard to disagree) and a great Jelly; I can’t imagine Fluther without her.

Talking to delirium for the first time was an almost surreal experience. It was astounding to talk to someone who has accomplished so many of the things that I wanted to but never even truly attempted. A woman of sharp wit and strong convictions, keeping up with her is a challenge to say the least.

I want to throw a shout-out to jay-zero-eee today. When I saw some of Joe’s first posts I was 100% convinced that he’s a troll, but apparently not! The biggest reason I want to give the man a shout is because of his participation and leadership in the Fluther community, mainly on the front of coming-up-with-cool-shit-to-make which is pretty awesome.

One of the biggest reasons I like markyy so much is that he’s in an awkward timezone, so he often happens to be in chat when I’m bored and no one else is on. Also, he’s exceedingly smart and interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever had a conversation with him when he didn’t say something insightful.
